Why is Pharos The Best Choice?
Pharos is a tool to identify hazards associated with a particular chemical, determine its presence on a Restricted Substance List (RSL) list, and evaluate it on GreenScreen benchmarks.
Our scientists and IT team gather, review, and categorize hazard data from nearly 100 sources. We go to great lengths to ensure our system has the most current, accurate, and complete data, and it shows. Pharos powers HBN’s other applications - the Data Commons and Portico.
We are the only hazard data provider licensed to provide automated hazard data for Health Product Declarations (HPD). Our hazard data is also the foundation for 3rd party applications, such as MaterialWise, as well as ChemHAT, a tool to educate workers about jobsite chemical hazards.
HBN maintains an independent stance on all interpretation of hazards and research.
