Scoring Summary

This section addresses the use of renewable energy by the manufacturer and their supply chain.

Scoring starts with a "base score" reflecting the percentage of total manufacturing energy from company owned or direct contract renewable energy projects. Local projects within 50 miles get full credit and those beyond get half credit.


Points are then added if the manufacturer purchases offsets for non renewable product manufacturing energy and for renewable energy use in the supply chain.
