Scoring Summary

 This section addresses the health impact of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the product that users are exposed to in the building. 

 IAQ Certification programs are scored based on how rigorously they restrict the emission of VOCs from the product. Wet applied products also may be scored based upon total VOC content, but can only attain the highest levels through emission testing.
